My name is Christopher Lyons and I would first like to thank you for all that you have done for our Country. I, myself, am a Veteran, I spent four years in the Military serving in the United States Navy onboard the USS CARL VINSON (CVN-70). I know the sacrifices that you undertake once the Oath has been taken; the things you give up are not understood by any except those who have done it before you. It is not a light or easy task that you go into light-hearted. We, here, at the Native American Indian and Veteran’s Center (NAIVC) appreciate all that you have done and that is why we have made it our mission to help the transition into Civilian life as easy as possible. We understand the simple fact that the Military as a whole trains you for Months if not years how to be a “soldier”, a “sailor”, a “marine” yet you get at most two weeks of training on how to be a civilian. We offer services that will help you on the right road. Help is always just an E-mail or phone call away. Again, thank you for serving and I look forward to talking soon.
